The Pit is a BDSM play event exclusively for men, held in the East Midlands. It takes place at CELESTIAL STUDIOS which is considered the premier BDSM dungeon in the UK.

The venue boasts 9
distinct rooms across two floors, each filled with an incredible range of equipment, making it an ideal
location to bring your most intriguing scene ideas to life.

Founded in 2024, Tom Baker had a vision, he imagined
an all-male BDSM play event where there were no restrictions! He wanted an event where people could
walk around completely naked if they wanted or dress in their finest fetish gear. In his imagination, he was
walking around the dungeon and could we see a large group of men immersing themselves into scenes and
surrounded by the sounds of laughter, the smell of leather, cries of pain, the cracking of whips and moans
of pleasure.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon entering Celestial Studios, you'll be greeted by the staff who will guide you to the changing rooms and lockers. Once prepared, you have the option to visit the bar and ease into the night with a drink, or dive directly into the play areas to fully embrace the kinky atmosphere. Among like-minded men, you can leave your inhibitions and wander through the dimly lit dungeon, all while enjoying the playlist curated by our DJ.

GROUND FLOOR

On the ground floor, you'll discover the Suspension Suite, equipped with five electric hoists perfect for trying out suspensions you've always been curious about. If you manage to reach the far end of the Suspension Suite without getting too caught up and slipping into a leather harness, you'll encounter The Prison Cell. Encased in cold steel bars, it truly mimics the atmosphere of a real prison cell, and once the door is locked, escape is impossible! The cell is fitted with a Fetters bondage wheel, metal shackles, leather sleep sack, Fetters inversion rack, and a mechanical hoist for suspending the prisoner.

SECOND FLOOR

Upstairs, you’ll discover an exceptional medical room, one of the best you might ever encounter. If medical fantasies intrigue you, this room will become your playground. Within the Golden Emporium, various options await you. Enclosed in a golden scaffold frame, there’s a sex swing and a suspended bed, ideal for exploring rope suspensions as well. Next, you’ll step into Torture Square, a favourite of Tom Baker. This space is intentionally crafted for punishment and retribution, with furniture specifically designed to inflict pain and suffering. The rack, a medieval tool, will stretch your subject to their limits, allowing you to tease and torment them. The pillory restricts movement, holding you in place while you undergo your chosen punishment. At the far end of Torture Square, you’ll find the cage, beneath which lies THE PIT, concealed under a metal grill.

DRESS CODE

We don't enforce a strict dress code like some events. However, fetish wear/gear is encouraged. No crossdressing or political symbols. We have a changing area, you can change upon arrival and leave your items in the cloakroom, lockers are available with limited availability.

THE BAR

The bar is cash or card. We have a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Hot drinks, snacks,
poppers and vapes are also available.

EVENT RULES AND ETIQUETTE OF THE PIT

Ticket & ID: On arrival, please have your ticket ready for us to check you off the guest
list. The signal at the venue can be poor so please be aware a screenshot/printout may
be a better option.
The minimum age is 18, anyone who appears to be under 25 must bring ID, entry will be
refused if we believe you could be under-age.
Phones: Please avoid using phones, if you need to take a call or send a message please
do so outside or in the reception area to respect the privacy of other attendees.
Photos: We have an official photographer. Other photos are only permitted with the supervision of event
staff.
Smoking: Is only permitted in the designated smoking area can be found just outside of the venue entrance.
Alcohol: We have a fully licensed bar at the venue. Please drink responsibly. If we
believe you are too drunk to be at the event you will be asked to leave.
The bar also stocks soft drinks, tea, coffee and some snacks.
You are allowed to drink around the venue but please try to keep the space tidy, rubbish
in bins and glasses back to the bar when possible.
Drugs: Celestial Studios has a zero-tolerance policy towards illicit drugs. If you are
found to be under the influence you will be asked to leave.
Consent: When you arrive, you will be given a wrist band using a traffic light system.
Please respect people’s choices.
Play: Please play freely around the venue, there is plenty of space and equipment.
Make sure you clean the equipment down after use, there are cleaning products
scattered around the venue. Condoms & lube are also around.
If you are unsure how to use a certain piece of equipment, please ask the team and
someone can help you out.
Please do not interrupt other people’s scenes. If you think something is non-consensual, please inform one
of the team.
If you are planning a scene which is more CNC or risky play, please let the team know so we don’t disturb
your scene.
Safe Words: The house safe word is ‘RED’
Medical Play: Must be in the dedicated medical room. All sharps must be disposed of
in a suitable sharps’ container and NOT the general bins!
Not Allowed: No Scat, watersports, sploshing or wax play at the venue.
Latex shine & dressing aid is only permitted in the changing room to prevent dangerous slippery floors.
Sex Positive: This is a sex positive venue but please don’t just stand in the corner
having a wank.
