ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Pit is a BDSM play event exclusively for men, held in the East Midlands. It takes place at CELESTIAL STUDIOS which is considered the premier BDSM dungeon in the UK.

The venue boasts 10
distinct rooms across two floors, each filled with an incredible range of equipment, making it an ideal
location to bring your most intriguing scene ideas to life.

Founded in 2024, Tom Baker had a vision, he imagined
an all-male BDSM play event where there were no restrictions! He wanted an event where people could
walk around completely naked if they wanted or dress in their finest fetish gear. In his imagination, he was
walking around the dungeon and could we see a large group of men immersing themselves into scenes and
surrounded by the sounds of laughter, the smell of leather, cries of pain, the cracking of whips and moans
of pleasure.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon entering Celestial Studios, you'll be greeted by the staff who will guide you to the changing rooms and lockers. Once prepared, you have the option to visit the bar and ease into the night with a drink, or dive directly into the play areas to fully embrace the kinky atmosphere. Among like-minded men, you can leave your inhibitions and wander through the dimly lit dungeon, all while enjoying the playlist curated by our DJ.

GROUND FLOOR

On the ground floor, you'll discover the Suspension Suite, equipped with five electric hoists perfect for trying out suspensions you've always been curious about. If you manage to reach the far end of the Suspension Suite without getting too caught up and slipping into a leather harness, you'll encounter The Prison Cell. Encased in cold steel bars, it truly mimics the atmosphere of a real prison cell, and once the door is locked, escape is impossible! The cell is fitted with a Fetters bondage wheel, metal shackles, leather sleep sack, Fetters inversion rack, and a mechanical hoist for suspending the prisoner.

SECOND FLOOR

Upstairs, you’ll discover an exceptional medical room, one of the best you might ever encounter. If medical fantasies intrigue you, this room will become your playground. Within the Golden Emporium, various options await you. Enclosed in a golden scaffold frame, there’s a sex swing and a suspended bed, ideal for exploring rope suspensions as well. Next, you’ll step into Torture Square, a favourite of Tom Baker. This space is intentionally crafted for punishment and retribution, with furniture specifically designed to inflict pain and suffering. The rack, a medieval tool, will stretch your subject to their limits, allowing you to tease and torment them. The pillory restricts movement, holding you in place while you undergo your chosen punishment. At the far end of Torture Square, you’ll find the cage, beneath which lies THE PIT, concealed under a metal grill.

DRESS CODE

We don't enforce a strict dress code like some events. However, fetish wear/gear is encouraged. No crossdressing or political symbols. We have a changing area, you can change upon arrival and leave your items in the cloakroom, lockers are available with limited availability.

THE BAR

The bar is cash or card. We have a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Hot drinks, snacks,
poppers and vapes are also available.

EVENT RULES AND ETIQUETTE OF THE PIT

🎟️ TICKETS, REFUNDS & ID

On arrival, please have your ticket ready so we can check you off the guest list. Signal at the venue can sometimes be poor, so we recommend having a screenshot or printout available.

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please make sure you are able to attend before purchasing.

The Pit is strictly 18+. Anyone who appears to be under 25 will be asked for ID. Entry will be refused if you cannot provide suitable ID and we believe you may be under age.

📵 PHONES & PHOTOGRAPHY

Please avoid using your phone around the venue to respect the privacy of other guests. If you need to take a call or send a message, please do so outside or in the reception area.

We have an official event photographer. Any other photography is only permitted with the supervision and approval of event staff.

🚪 OPEN DOOR POLICY

All play rooms at The Pit operate an open door policy.

The rooms are shared event spaces and cannot be commandeered for private or exclusive play. You are very welcome to use them for your scenes, but they must remain accessible to other guests throughout the event.

🔐 LOCKERS

Lockers are available for clothing and personal belongings during the event.

Please keep your locker key safe. Lost locker keys will incur a £5 replacement charge.

⚡ FLASHING LIGHTS

Please be aware that flashing and strobe-style lighting may be in use around the venue.

If this causes an issue for you, please speak to a member of the team. Flashing lighting can be turned off on request.

🚬 SMOKING

Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area, which can be found just outside the venue entrance.

🍸 ALCOHOL

We have a fully licensed bar at the venue serving alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea, coffee and some snacks.

Please drink responsibly. If we believe you are too intoxicated to remain at the event, you will be asked to leave.

Drinks can be taken around the venue, but please help us keep the space tidy by putting rubbish in the bins and returning glasses to the bar whenever possible.

🚫 DRUGS

Celestial Studios operates a zero-tolerance policy towards illicit drugs. If you are found to be under the influence of illicit drugs, you will be asked to leave.

🚦 CONSENT

When you arrive, you will be given a wristband using our traffic-light consent system. Please respect people’s choices and boundaries at all times.

Consent is essential. If someone hasn’t given you permission to join or interact with their scene, don’t.

⛓️ PLAY

Please feel free to play throughout the venue. There is plenty of space and equipment available for you to enjoy.

Please clean equipment after use. Cleaning products are available throughout the venue, along with condoms and lube.

If you’re unsure how to use a particular piece of equipment, please ask a member of the team and we’ll be happy to help.

Please do not interrupt other people’s scenes. If you are concerned that something may be non-consensual, inform a member of the team.

If you are planning a CNC or higher-risk scene that could potentially be mistaken for a genuine problem, please let the team know beforehand so that we are aware of what is happening and don’t unnecessarily interrupt your scene.

The house safe word is RED.

🩺 MEDICAL PLAY

Medical play must take place in the dedicated medical room.

All sharps must be disposed of in a suitable sharps container and must never be placed in the general waste bins.

❌ NOT ALLOWED

No scat, watersports, sploshing or wax play is permitted at the venue.

Latex shine and dressing aid may only be used in the changing room, as these products can create dangerously slippery floors elsewhere in the venue.

The Pit is a sex-positive event and sexual play is welcome.
